When it comes to collecting postcards from exotic places you won't find many places more exotic than the beaches of Brazil. Because of the different shades of blue in the water and the length of their gorgeous beaches, a vacationer will usually look at buying postcards to commemorate their stay in Brazil. You can get postcards of Bahia in the state of Salvador in Brazil that show the array of colors in the area. The birds, tree monkeys, coconuts and the variety of local foods all come out with vibrant colors in postcards, more so than in regular pictures.
If you are traveling some place else in Brazil, like Rio de Janeiro, and plan to do some hiking on Corcovado Mountain to see the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer, you will definitely have to rely on an overhead picture to capture the immensity of that statue. Because the picture is taken from a plane you not only get the overhead picture of the Christ the Redeemer, but of the surrounding area.
Sending the postcard to family back in the United States to show them the mountain you climbed can not only be great for the family, but can be a memory for when you get back. Sending the postcard from Brazil will also allow you to use Brazilian stamps. These stamps are elongated and usually depict a popular aspect of Brazil, such as the gemstones mined there. Combining the postcard with the stamp will give either you or your family a great souvenir from a great country.
