Another great thing about this site is that you have the option to view your photo immediately before finalizing your order, and it is all free up until you choose to check out online.

Perhaps postage stamps may seem a bit over the top for some. You may want to consider having postcards printed with your children as the image. Interestingly, this was only three days after what would have been President Reagan’s 94th birthday.

The 37-cent stamp was a smiling portrait of the President in a suit with a white shirt and a red tie that had navy blue strips that were outlined in white. The President was smiling his famous pearly white smile that so many Americans found comforting. His wife Nancy was there at the unveiling, which occurred at Reagan’s library in California. The stamp was a very adequate tribute to a president that positively influenced the lives of so many.

Brazil Stamps or Postcards

The year of 1843 was the first year in which Brazil stamps were issued. The stamps were monochrome. They had different rels of Brazilian currency. In 1844 the Goats eye design was on the stamps with 600 rels. A 430 rels yellow stamp was issued in 1854. A scarlet-vermillion 280 rels stamps was issued 1854 to 1861. In 1930 a blue 2000 rel provisional stamp having Brazil printed on it was issued. A Rs 10,000 stamp was also issued in 1930 but these had Zeppelin as the theme.

Brasil Correrio was used for many years. Beginning in the 1900s people were the subjects on the stamps, particularly kings. The kings included Albert I of Belgium, Alfonso I of Portugal, and George Washington in 1909 and 1939. In addition, Rodrigues Alves was on the Brazil stamp in 1917, Castro Alves, a poet, was on the Brazil stamp in 1997, and others appeared after that. The most recent was in 2007 when Teofilo Ottoni was on the stamp.

In addition to people being on the stamps, Brazil native birds were on the stamps. These included a large number of birds. Many of the stamps displayed the beautiful colors of the birds. Other native animals were also on the stamps. These included the anteater, water buffalo, crocodiles, leopards, otters, various fish, and many beautiful flowers.
